At the beginning: preparing the site.

The gravel is installed and spread, and the vertical posts are installed at strategic points to support the carport.

The posts are aligned and the horizontal stringers
measured and cut to length.

Leveling and bolting the stringers into position.

2X6 cedar rafters are installed between the stringers and secured in place, as the basis for the roof.

2X2 ties are installed above the rafters to hold
them securely while the roof is installed.
